Okay so it's not my family but I love this guy like a brother....

Anyways... five months ago my eighteen year old brother from another mother knocked up this fourteen year old little girl. He was seventeen at the time making it just barely legal. After a lot of blah blah blah... she decided to keep it, got thrown in foster care and now he's jumping through a seriously obscene number of hoops to get rights to see it when it's born in four months.

In the meantime, he met Conquest, who's name later changed to Puerto Rico (but that's a long story) and on Tuesday he told me she's a week late. She's sixteen...

After some serious thought, knowing that he doesn't believe in condoms, I have decided that he needs a vasectomy... Not sure if they'll do that for a eighteen year old though...

Anyways... any words of wisdom for the dumbass? Or ways that I could help him somehow (I'm all ready thought of cutting it off while he's asleep but I deemed that sick and wrong and had a long convo with my shrink about it)

First of all, dumbasses have to want your help.  It's a shame that he has to fight for rights to his own kid, especially when people are bitching all the time about how teen dads need to step up to the plate and be real men and take responsibility and all. It occurs to me that he might stick with the younger girls because he doesn't like condoms and wants partners who haven't been around so much, and if that's the case he's going to have lots of little ones until he crosses the magic age line that will make him a statutory rapist, or until someone who has had more experience than he thought gives him the 'gift that keeps on giving'.  Hopefully he will get some rights to his children and realize what a Herculean task raising kids is and be more careful.  Chosing partners who use birth control would help.

He doesn't need a vasectomy... not yet. He just needs to learn to keep it in his pants long enough to get his head straight. The girl has to be retarded to sleep with a man who doesn't believe in condoms, when she doesn't have a backup plan. Birth-control (of all shapes, sizes and forms) are available. Condom isn't the only pregnancy preventer. Of course, abstinence is the best birth control.

No one uses abstinence past the age of fourteen anymore, and actually she's the one that didn't want a condom... So... Think on THAT one....
Stupid little girl.
I think all guys should have a vasectomy at birth, and then when they want kids they can have it undone... But that's just me.

I suppose that just makes her doubly-retarded, then. I hope she has a miscarriage and has to have a hysterectomy. Stupid people shouldn't breed.

Honestly I get the feeling it's not his. She has yet to give him a paternity test. She doesn't feel somfortable doing it pre-natal. So when she gives birth in November we'll all see if he's still a daddy I guess. I really worry about that boy....
